What 60 Minutes a Day Can Do Over 16 Years
A simple daily habit turned into hundreds of articles, hundreds of books, and a whole new way of thinking. Consistency is the key!
About 1 hour EVERY day — sometimes before starting work, sometimes after work, sometimes before sleep.
Waking up a little earlier on some weekends, just to increase this 1 daily hour a bit on Saturday and Sunday.
That's it. And I love it!
That's all it takes for me to read a few pages of a book and to create all the content I share.
Just enough to spread a bit of what I've been learning or reading.
But the thing is...
I've been doing this for the past 16 years! :)
I don't read a book per day. But I read a few pages every day, and after a certain number of days, a book is finished.
I don't write an article per day. But I write a little every day, and after a couple of days, an article is finished.
I've finished hundreds of books.
I've published more than 700 articles (counting the Brazilian stuff).
Not because I do a lot, but because I do a little bit EVERY-SINGLE-DAY.
That’s my answer to one of the questions I often get: "When do you find time to read all these books and post this content?"
Some people don't go to the gym because they say they don't have time.
Some don't eat healthily, no time.
Some don't read, again, no time.
There are also things I’d love to do, and honestly, I probably would have time if I made them a priority over other things in life. That's how I believe time works, based on priorities.
I don't know what your reality is.
And I respect what you don’t have time to do.
As someone who recently became a father, I truly know what it's like to see all your available time just evaporate.
This article is a special thanks to everyone who helped me reach the 10,000 followers on LinkedIn and are always around, reading what I write, engaging with my content, and supporting so many things I’ve been trying to create over the past years.
Excited for everything there is to read, write, and explore in the years ahead. Can you join me for at least the next 16?
